Dashing Through The Snow:Soft Piano Christmas Classics

Dashing Through the Snow is Michael John Hall’s warmly understated collection of Christmas classics for solo piano. Blending gentle jazz touches with an easy, unhurried style, the album offers a peaceful alternative to the bustle of the season—music for quiet gatherings, snowy evenings and reflective holiday moments.

The title recording went on to become Hall’s greatest streaming success, reaching more than 60 million plays on Pandora and establishing this album as a cornerstone of his seasonal catalog. Its enduring connection with listeners ultimately helped inspire his return to holiday music years later with Winter Whispers.
