Songs in the Key of Sleep, Vol. 2: Night Vigil

Night Vigil, the second volume in Michael John Hall’s Songs in the Key of Sleep series, is a collection of intimate solo-piano music for the hours when the world grows still. Familiar melodies including “What a Wonderful World” and “The Long and Winding Road” are joined by Hall’s original compositions “Love’s Call” and “Near the Soul Plane.”

Gentle, spacious and deeply reflective, the album was created for quiet evenings, meditation, sleep and those solitary moments when music can feel like a reassuring presence in the dark.
