Ville Laaksonen is a Finnish composer and musician. He started playing the piano when he was 5 years and it wasn’t long after that he started composing his first songs.
Fast forward some years: After meddling with different projects such as singing and arranging choir parts for Finnish metal band Nightwish, writing songs for Finnish pop stars such as Antti Tuisku and releasing a solo album as Boy With Strings he’s returned back to his roots to compose piano pieces.
Laaksonen’s piano pieces have often a cinematic feel and they evoke feelings of melancholy, hope and joy. A full album Spaces Around Times will be released in October 2019.
