Emilio Alejandro Medrano Cruz, born on Saturday, July 5, 1997 in Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic. Composer, producer, singer, arranger, teacher and musician. His musical influences range from: Richard Clayderman, Raul Di Blasio, Yanni, Yann Tiersen, to Koji Kondo, Alan Menken, Yasunori Mitsuda, among many others; the aforementioned being his favorite musicians. Hence, the style of his music is regularly cataloged as: music for movies, video games, anime ... in general, music for audiovisual content/soundtracks, of which he declares himself a fan. In addition to the instrumentals, he enjoys doing pop ballads, both love and heartbreak.
Emilio begins with the piano at 10 years old, then with the guitar at 15 and with singing at 16. He has studied music at the APEC Fernando Arturo de Meriño School, at the National Conservatory of Music in his country and has followed his studies through Berklee Online and various virtual courses from professionals in the area.
He has belonged to bands like: Cultura de Fe, Ministerio Jeselao, and is currently a keyboardist, arranger and second voice in the band: Claudia and La Onda. He founded a music academy called: Medrano Music Academy and a recording and rehearsal studio called: Medrano Music Studio, along with his partner Guillermo de Jesús Reyes Nolasco, violinist and partner of Emilio from its beginnings.
After having participated as a musician and arranger of productions such as: “Tu eres su hijo” from Cultura de Fe or “Todas son tuyas Señor” of the Ministerio Jeselao, he finally released his own production: “Mistakes” an EP of 5 recorded instrumental piano songs totally improvising and in one shot.
