Cory Gabel is an award-winning composer, recording artist and performer, and creates original music for dance, theater, film and solo projects. His music has been featured in popular films and stage productions and on widely seen television campaigns for ESPN, The United Way and Comcast. He performs regularly as a solo pianist, as well as a vocalist/guitarist, jazz bassist and orchestral percussionist.
2013 is shaping up as a busy, and highly-productive year. A new solo piano record “Paso” will be released in the spring, and Cory continues his collaboration with Sonia Plumb Dance Company on an all new piece for the fall entitled “The Moon”. He’s also writing the score for Dean Lennert’s animated film “Dear Anna Olson”, finishing his first novel, and developing a new horror-play with playwright Jacques Lamarre.
