Switzerland
Catherine Fearns is a pianist and composer from Liverpool UK, now based in Switzerland. Her first solo album, ‘half life’, was released by Blue Spiral Records in 2021, with the follow-up scheduled for release in May 2023. Catherine is a Universal Edition composer and her sheet music is available from their website. She has collaborated with many other artists as keyboardist, particularly in the field of heavy metal, since she is also guitarist/songwriter with acclaimed all-female metal band Chaos Rising.
Catherine is also an award-winning novelist, and for her, writing and composing are all part of the same storytelling process.
