Being a pianist is as much about listening as it is playing. I created this CD to share my musical passion for the great jazz pianists and to share my own music, recorded at Music Masters, St. Louis, Mo. St. Louis, where I grew up, played gigs on the riverboats and local bars. I have lived in the Pacific Northwest, Portland, Or. and Seattle, Wa for the past 20 years. My first introduction to Bill Evans was the chart "Blue in Green". This tune was on the epic Mile Davis recording "Kind of Blue" and was our drummer’s grandmother’s favorite tune.…
