Matias Bacoñsky is a pianist and composer born on 10 September 1994 in Argentina. He was inspired by Amy Lee of Evanescence to start to play the piano, also was influenced by Yiruma, Ludovico Einaudi and Ramin Djawadi. His music is mostly quite dark and emotional, but it is not without hope also seems to tell a dramatic and emotional story and extends comfortable pauses to dramatic moments with songs of solitude and surrender, according to musical reviewers.
He released three solo piano albums: ‘Life and Death’ (2016), ‘Straight From the Heart’ (2017) and ‘When the Worlds Ends’ (2018), a tale of a man who is living the end of the world.
In 2020 he will release the fourth album and first epic orchestral album called ‘Epochal’, a continuation of the 2018 album story, when a man survived the end of manking. Is he alone? Will he be able to face loneliness? He will find someone else? The full story will be unveiled at the end 2020.
