Jeff Kinder

Jeff Kinder

Jeff Kinder’s classically trained piano background blends beautifully into his unique, contemplative, and heartfelt piano compositions. The Northern Ohio-based musician’s piano sound is emphasized by his releases’ simple melodies and epic themes. A film-music-inspired focus is clear, from his writing and performing style to creating a powerful and moving strings-driven soundscape. Kinder’s compositions fall primarily into New Age/Instrumental/Neo-Classical genres. George Winston, Michael W. Smith, and Jim Brickman are among his top piano influences. He records in Nashville with Blair Masters, studio owner and current keyboard player for Garth Brooks. Kinder worked with the late multi-Grammy-winner Michael Bishop of Five/Four Productions in Cleveland, Ohio, on his first release, “Moments” (2011).

Kinder’s 2020 release, “Triumph,” was engineered by multi-Grammy-winning Rob Burrell of RB Productions (Spring Hill, Tennessee). Jeff’s latest project, “Joy,” a Christmas album, was recorded in Nashville with Blair Masters. Kinder and Masters worked together this time as co-producers on the project. Jeff’s “Triumph” album was nominated for the 2020 Album of the Year by His music has been streamed more than eight million times on Pandora.

Kinder also penned two songs for band Daughter Darling’s “Sweet Shadows” album. One of these songs - “Broken Bridge” - was featured in the pilot episode and first DVD release of “Bones.”
