Eamonn is a contemporary pianist based in Northern Ireland. He first developed his love for the piano at the age of 7 and taught himself over the years to play, developing his own style moulded by pianists such as Phil Coulter, Jim Brickman, Bruce Hornsby Ludvico Einuadi and Yiruma. He also listened deeply to Newage artists such as Jean Michel Jarre and Mike Oldfield throughout his teenage years and beyond, this has had a huge impact on how he composes music and he regularly uses warm synth pads and textures to back his solo pieces creating a unique healing sound. Eamonn has been recording piano pieces now for almost 4 years and signed to the Real Music label in 2013 releasing his first album Distant sun in January 2014 to critical acclaim. Eamonn composes music specifically to heal and to create peace in the lives of others, I sincerely hope you enjoy his music.
