Antonello Aloise

Antonello Aloise

Instrumental musician/composer Antonello Aloise was born in Turin on March 31, 1980. After receiving his first formal piano and theory lessons at 12, he decided to pursue his studies as a self-taught musician. He then started playing keyboards for various bands, and experimenting genres as diverse as progressive rock and electronica.
Deeply inspired by soundtracks and instrumental music, he devoted himself to the evocative power of sound, which he explored in the music created for theatrical events, exhibitions, dance performances and short movies (all played with acoustic and synthetic instruments).
Emotional Piano, his first solo piano album, was released in 2008.
In 2010 he teamed with musician/composer Diego Manca Mura and won the ‘Torino Best Soundtrack Award’ in the ‘Suoni di Torino’ category.
The duo composed also the music for the exhibition of the Sonics acrobatic team during the opening ceremony of the Kiev Stadium (European Football Championships) in 2011.
In 2014, he won the ‘SoundtrART contest’, promoted by the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, and created and performed the music for a contemporary art exhibition with guitarist Riccardo Di Gianni.
At the end of the same year, he released his latest album, ‘Underwood’, recorded with violinist Elena Corniolo.
