Luciana Hamond

Dr. Luciana Hamond is a pianist, composer, and researcher. She now lectures at the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT), Brazil, convening modules in piano and music education. She supervises Undergraduate and Postgraduate work in music education. She holds a PhD in Music Education from University College London (UCL) and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at UDESC. Her research explores the use of digital technologies in piano teaching and performance. Recent piano works include the singles Donation (2023), Fear (2024), Piano Inspirations EP (2024) and the album Stonehenge (2025). As an artist-researcher, she leads projects integrating musical creation, performance, and digital production.
