PIERRE LESCAUT is a Canadian composer born in Montreal in 1957.
The musical adventure of Pierre actually begins in 1978 with AQUARELLE group Then the rhythm of concerts, new compositions and musical experiences as arranger, accompanist and musical director for several Quebec artists, and French, Pierre finds himself at the direction of a quartet and then jazz trio that interprets his compositions. He was invited to the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland whit Aquarelle group and the International Jazz Festival of Montréal at the direction of a quartet and then jazz trio that interprets his compositions and he participated in many performances solo on radio and television CBC. The year 1986 will mark the final evolution of his compositions. Pierre settled in the Matapedia Valley, in the country in Gaspésie to open other horizons, far from the bustle of big cities. Then a turning point in his artistic approach. In the midst of an extraordinary nature begins an intense period of creation, granting itself perfectly to his new country life. He found his creative and musical way, music instrumental new ageHis first album seems HELIANTHE in 1989. Since then, he continues to compose. It has 15 albums to its assets, and numerous song and works for choirs. His PLENITUDE, HELIANTHE albums, SYMPHONIE DES BOIS, DE LA MER and DES MARAIS, ESPERANZA, L’AUBE DES JOURS, still among the best air-play on New Age radio, Radio Classique, and Stingray Music. He has 3 nominations at L’ADISQ in the best new age album category. It is among the best albums of the genre produced in Quebec. In his five symphonies he joined with his music, the harmonious sounds of nature is recording. On others he adds his voice accompaniment. His albums are distributed in Canada, Europe, the US, South America, Asia and on Bandcamp and iTune. L’AUBE DES JOURS, solo piano, was also released in South Korea on Jingo Records in 2006, and was republished in 2010.

Pierre now runs his Musilescau Records and publisher.. New albums releases in 2017 ‘‘L’AUBE DES JOURS 2’’ piano solo and ‘‘SYMPHONIE DU RUISSEAU 2’’ music with sound of creek and song of birds..
