This album showcases the performances from a very special LOVE edition of ‘The Listening Experience’ - a “love-streamed” (live streamed) solo piano concert of fresh, brand-new, all original music, offering a soundtrack to the romance in the air on VALENTINE’S DAY, February 14, 2021.
Each original composition is dedicated to a quality that nurtures the essence of love deep within a soft, melting heart so it endures, flourishes and grows.
Track dedication descriptions:
1 - GOOD NATURE : Having an easygoing and pleasing manner especially in loving relationships is incredibly helpful! This composition connects with the qualities of being affable, agreeable, amiable, good-tempered, gracious, cheerful, gentle, kind, accommodating, considerate, polite, thoughtful, mellow and sweet.
2- IN CONCERT: As a metaphor for the livestream ‘concert’ being performed, this composition illuminates that when two or more loving people do something ‘in concert’, they do it together, assisting each other with cooperation and harmony of hearts, minds and souls.
3- AGAPE LOVE: “Agape means recognition of the fact that all life is interrelated.” - Martin Luther King, Jr., ‘Stride Toward Freedom: The Montgomery Story’, 1958.
A love called agape, also called compassionate or unconditional love, simply put, is love without strings attached. It’s love you offer freely. You don’t base it on what someone does for you in return. You simply love them and want nothing more than their happiness.
4- TENDERHEARTED: This composition speaks to a soft, melting heart that is easily moved to express the supportive love and compassion for another’s distress.
5- UNISON: An analogy in life for the musical interval of one note unto itself (i.e. - “unison”): Being in unison with somebody/something you love means a sense of synchronicity - you all do it at the same time; working together, because you agree with each other in concord.
6- RESPONSE-ABILITY: The ability to respond harmoniously in a loving relationship is certainly the result of maturity, or rather personal evolution and self-awareness. Response-ability is the ability to be mindful of our Selves and the thoughts and feelings that we experience as a result of internal and external stimuli. It involves being grounded and centered in respect and mindfulness. Opening one’s heart to the ability of consciously and deliberately choosing a sincere and authentic response with intention and care.
7- TRUSTWORTHINESS: This composition is dedicated to the trait of deserving trust and confidence. It expresses dependability, reliability, responsibility, solidity, solidness, sureness.
8- GOOD WILL: This piece is a tribute to a love that nourishes with kindly concern offers support, fellowship, camaraderie, benevolence, charity, cordiality, civility, generosity, empathy, tolerance, unselfishness and friendliness.

Recorded on a beautifully restored 1924 Steinway Model “M” Grand, this music is a fine example of Andy Wasserman’s signature sound, combining an expressive solo piano touch with an impressive technique.
He presents a unique contemporary Jazz piano style with one ear tuned to the therapeutic qualities of “holistic music healing.”
Wasserman’s rhythmic invention and elegant harmonies resonate a living tribute to the solo piano artistic tradition of virtuoso elegance, past and present.

ABOUT ANDY WASSERMAN’S WORK IN THE LCCOTO, the art and science of tonal gravity created by Innovative Jazz legend George Russell:
Wasserman was certified directly by George Russell to teach the Lydian Chromatic Concept of Tonal Organization in 1982 and worked as his editorial assistant for 30 years.
