About the Songs:

1. glow - my wife and kids each get a “glow” when true joy lights their hearts and it’s one of my favorite things to see.
2. no more shame - shame has played too much of a role in my life and this song is about being okay with being different. dedicated to my creative and passionate daughter, ava.
3. while the world passed me by - a reflection of how i often felt while composing my previous album.
4. here i am - inspired by a friend who, following a diagnosis with autism and other challenges, shines brighter than ever.
5. soar - a melody that literally came to me in my dreams and encouraged me to believe.
6. love conquers fear - a lesson i’ve been learning. dedicated to my courageous son, kellen.
7. forgotten innocence - remembering what it was like to have the faith and perspective of a child.
8. sweet spirit - composed with my daughter, addison. inspired by her sweet spirit and time improvising with her at the piano.
9. deliverance - about being thankful for the second chances i’ve gotten.
10. untold stories - composed while thinking about the personal stories that have shaped me and that I often hide from the world. 11. divergence - experiencing songwriter’s block can make you want to laugh and cry at the same time. this song came to me in that very moment.
12. drifting away - at times i’ve allowed the world to dictate who i am and i’m learning to live with true purpose.
