Are you one of those people who can’t get a full nights sleep? Wake up at 3, 4 or 5AM and can’t get back to sleep? I was. So I would look for music to help calm my mind and sleep restfully. I couldn’t find anything effective, so I decided to write my own music based on BPM (beats per minute), keys and overtones that translate to my brain waves. It even works during the day for a quick power nap.
Galina Mindlin, MD, PhD of the Brain Music Therapy Center has made a study on how different music can help with relaxing, sleeping, changing moods, waking, eating and staying awake. This CD is designed to help you to relax and fall asleep. The BPM slightly varies from 90 to 50, to relax the brain and lull you to sleep. Each person may find they respond to different tempos matching to their own brain waves. See what works best for you.
