Solo pianist, composer, vocalist, and songwriter, Louis Landon from Chestnut Ridge, New York, has dedicated his life to music. His career has taken him around the world playing a variety of styles with some of the most recognized names in the entertainment industry. Yet, not long ago, Landon realized that his own music - the solo compositions and songs that bring him so much joy and peace could surely bring joy and peace to others. His latest CD, Solo Piano for Peace, was nominated for the 2009 ZoneMusicReprter Music Awards in three categories: Album of the Year, Best Instrumental Album - Piano, and Best Cover Art. It was also number 30 out of the top 100 airplay titles for 2009 on ZoneMusicReporter.
Landon continues his mission of peace by creating solo piano Improvs for Peace. He has produced over 12 1/2 hours of music since December of 2010. He offers these improvs as a free downloads on his website: louislandon.com.
His latest CD hit the ZoneMusicReporter charts at 14 in October.
His latest project, a vocal CD produced by Grammy award winning guitarist, Eric Tingstad, is scheduled to be released in February 2011.
