Born in Cagliari, Italy, Andrea Vivanet began to study the piano at the age of 8 and continued his studies at the Conservatorio di Musica P. L. da Palestrina in Cagliari.
When he was 13 he performed the Mozart concert K. 414 with the Orchestra of the Opera House of Cagliari.
He was very young when he won the 1st prize at the G. B. Pergolesi piano competition.
He continued his studies with Christa Butzberger and Marina Rossi and he graduated with honors at the Conservatorio di Musica G. Frescobaldi in Ferrara.
He received the diploma with honors after attending the Triennial Masterclass in Piano and Chamber Music Ars and Labor, under the guidance of Christa Butzberger and Marina Rossi.
Afterwords he studied in Hungary with professors Balazs Szokolay and Istvan Lantos at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest where he obtained the Master Degree with honors in piano performance.
During this period he also attended classes with Miklos Perenyi, Andras Keller, Gabor Csalog, Geza Hargitai, Ferenc Rados.
He took part in several masterclasses held by renowned pianists and musicians such as Franco Rossi, Mikhail Voskresenky, Paul Badura Skoda.
He gave many recitals as a soloist and in several chamber music ensembles in Italy and in other countries such as Denmark, Greece, Hungary and France.
He was also asked to record the first performance of the Suite for Piano by the American composer Misha Kolesosky.
Recently he performed with great success at the Liszt Ferenc Memorial Museum in Budapest receiving an enthusiastic review by the composer Alessio Elia.
In October 2014 he was awarded the 3rd prize at the 15th Osaka International Music Competition. Andrea Vivanet currently lives in Paris, where he is pursuing his teaching and performing activities.
